Cordall’s Marine Cord Polypropylene Super Braid – High quality fine diameter braided cords with low to no stretch made right here in New Zealand.
Uses – Designed and Manufactured for marine use. These cords now have a wide range of uses anywhere a tough floating cord is preferred. Polypropylene will not absorb water so will naturally float and by not absorbing water it wont rot when left wet. Ideal for agriculture, horticulture and marine industries and anywhere a fine diameter, stiff, low stretch cord is required…
Raw Material/Construction – Polypropylene yarn in a super tight braiding pattern for a stiff cord ideal for threading into rudder cavities on kayaks. In yachting it would be called a “mousing line” for its stiff qualities.
Colour – Polypropylene super braid in Black. (For other colour requirements see the Custom Orders information below)
Diameter / Length – Polypropylene super braid cord available in 2mm and 3mm diameter on 100m reels.

We can manufactured our Marine Cord on a custom production run to suit your requirements. Changing the diameter, yarn colour, reel length, braiding pattern and cord feel (stiffness/softness) is all possible. Minimum Order Quantity of 1000m on custom runs. No maximum order size and we can create indent forward orders for your ongoing requirements. Small Quantities
Looking for a cord but don’t need a full 100m reel? We have a selection of cord in different sizes and lengths in stock. These will be high quality products and generally the over-runs from our production process.
