Marine Floating Cord Polypropylene 3mm – 5mm
Cordall’s Marine Cord. High quality fine diameter Polypropylene braided cords with low to no stretch made right here in New Zealand.
Uses – Designed and Manufactured for marine use. These cords now have a wide range of uses anywhere a tough no stretch cord is preferred. Polypropylene will not absorb water so will naturally float and by not absorbing water it wont rot when left wet. Ideal for agriculture, horticulture and marine industries and anywhere a fine diameter, stiff, low stretch cord is required…
Raw Material/Construction – Polypropylene yarn in a super tight braiding pattern for a stiff cord ideal for threading into rudder cavities on kayaks. In yachting it would be called a “mousing line” for its stiff qualities.
Colour – Predominantly in Black, however a couple of reels of White and Yellow are available while stocks last.
Diameter / Length – Available in 3mm, 4mm diameter on 100m reels and the 5mm on a 50m reel.

Looking for a cord but don’t need a full 100m reel? We have a selection of cord in different sizes and lengths in stock. These will be high quality products and generally the over-runs from our production process.
